JIVE (I)

It is fast and full of fun. There are a variety of movements that can be danced such as spins, kicks, underarm turns and changes of rhythm. As difficult as it might seem at first, the fun on all the patterns makes it fun to participate.

RUMBA (A)

Using "Cuban Motion", this dance should display a sensuous movement of the hips and sense of flirtation between the man and the lady. The various rhythms and body expressions make this a very popular dance to watch and to participate in. Rumba is a fun, sexy and perfect for partner dancing. From the Music to the movements, this dance will bring the dancer out of you!

CHA-CHA (A)

The legs and hips are used to produce a strong rhythmical movement that compliments the music. Because of this dance's easy adaptation to modern music, the Cha-Cha is probably the most popular of the Latin Dances. Once you see it… you will never get over it! So much fun, a lot of attitude and will give your hips and calves a real work out!

SAMBA (A)

The Samba is an energetic, festive dance and it's characterized by a light bouncing action with rapid steps and lots of spins. It was originated in Brazil and till this day this dance is performed during the carnival at Rio de Janeiro . Samba, this dance put the fun in all the other dances. Its' energetic music and patterns make Samba one of peoples' favorite dances.

PASO DOBLE (I)

The character of this dance is taken from the matador and displays a sense of strength, passion and arrogance. The Lady will portray the use of the cape by the Matador with many dramatic movements and poses. The Paso Doble will put a new meaning to the word Love! So much Drama on the Dance Floor that it is Impossible not to get hooked!

MAMBO (I)

The Mambo is a spicy, compact dance. It's exciting moves consist of many turns, swivels and spins. The Mambo is a fusion between Swing dance and Latin Dances from Cuba . It is a dance with many influences from African music, Cuban music, Jazz, Hip-Hop, even some ballet. You'll never run out of steps."

EC SWING (A)

It is lively, fast and full of fun. There are a variety of movements that can be danced such as spins, kicks, underarm turns and changes of rhythm. The music, the turns and the fun of dancing EC Swing will make you forget about your worries of the day!

WC SWING (A)

This dance can be jazzy or hot or smooth and warm. The partners will stay in the slot with the Lady providing most of the movement across and past the man. Within these moves, there is the opportunity for individuality by the use of maneuvers such as turns, spins and different rhythms and footwork. WC Swing is one of the most versatile dances of today. It's danced with a touch of sexiness and flirtation between dance partners, that turns it into a fun dance to watch and participate in.

BOLERO (A)

A slight rise and fall together with a smooth sophisticated movement and a romantic communication between the partners makes this the ideal dance of love. Turns, breaks and wrapping type movements, together with changes of rhythm and a sense of playfulness towards each other, tell the story of this dance. Definitely, is the most beautiful and romantic dance of all the Latin dances.

MERENGE (A)

This dance is fun and is probably the easiest dance to learn. Its basic movement is made up of simple side steps that progress in a counter-clockwise direction around the floor. It can be danced with a strong Cuban motion. Merengue is one of the most popular Latin Rhythms and is being played on Cruises, Weddings, Clubs, etc… .a real asset to your dance curriculum.

HUSTLE (A)

Disco, a blend of black, Latin, and European moods and rhythms and became more popular during the 70's Disco era. Turns, spins and wraps are primary components of Hustle dance steps. The more accomplished dancers will use syncopated timing and fakes along with elaborate arm styling. This dance will definitely bring fun to your dance curriculum.

SALSA (A)

In this day and age “Salsa” is used as a general term to describe all the different styles and rhythms this music has to offer. Oozing with sensuous style, the passion and energy flowing about the dance floor as salsa dancers take to the scene is so contagious that you may certainly long to feel the liveliness they emit. Your partner and you will be the center of attention at any party if you know how to “Salsa” .

ARGENTINE TANGO (A)

The Argentine Tango is characterized by its passion and sensuality. Since it is an improvisational dance, both in its patterning and its musicality, it is always intriguing and never the same from one partner to the next or even from one song to the next. A new form of communication that will take you to another world of romance, where actions speak lauders than words!

BACHATA (A)

Bachata dance and music is a well-known form of expression. While the underlying themes of Bachata dance and the accompanying melody typically surround a romantic subject, other emotions like sadness and heartache also become a part of this type of dance, which is also referred to as "bitter." This dance is fun and easy to dance, romantic and full of hip movements!

FOXTROT (A|I)

In it's present form, the Slow Foxtrot should be performed with a smooth, continuous undulating movement, with its music and light rise and falls the Foxtrot will transport you to the 50's and 60's era. If you like, Sinatra, Michael Bubble, and Harry Connick Jr., this is the dance to have on your program.

QUICK STEP (I)

As the name implies, the Quickstep is a very quick and lively dance. It still maintains many of the walks, turns and runs of the Foxtrot, but has been complimented by the playful introduction of locks, hops, skips and kicks. The real fun in the Smooth Dance Family! Fast and full of energy that will take your breath away!

WALTZ (A|I)

It is a progressive dance using rise and fall. Unlike the American Style which has a combination of open and closed position figures, the International Waltz stays in closed position throughout. This dance does not need introduction. This dance will take you to the limits and will make you dance like lovers do!

VIENNESE WALTZ (A|I)

This is a fast paced elegant Ballroom dance. It's style consist of constant turning clockwise or counterclockwise interjected with many change steps. Because of the speed and rotation involved, there is much less rise and fall than the Slow Waltz, but a greater use of sway is needed to control turns. Travel around the world and listen to one of the most beautiful music while continuously spin and dance across the floor with the Viennese Waltz

CW TWO STEP(CW)

The "Ballroom Two Step" is officially danced to a "Slow, Slow, Quick, Quick" (1-2, 3, 4), rhythm. It is a combination of "Smooth" and "Latin" elements. Two step has a wide frame (like Foxtrot & Waltz), but incorporates many Rumba type elements. It feels very smooth and gliding when you dance it. If you like country music… this is the dance you have to have under your belt. It is fun, fast and with many, many spins.

NC TWO STEP(CW)

The "NC Two Step" is a dance you can do in night clubs as well as ballrooms, weddings, cruises, etc. It's an alternative to the "Slow" dance. That's the dance where you stand, put your hands on your partner's waist and your partner puts her arms around your neck and you sway back and forth, back-and-forth etc., etc. The Night Club Two Step is danced to popular music, mostly ballads. A beautiful dance with a wide variety of music to be danced with! The sway action and dance style makes NC Two Step one of everyone's favorite!
